Curd Crumbles
Ingredients:
- Crumbles
- Thick curd
- Mustard seeds
- Urad dal
- Jeeragam
- Curry leaves
- Dry chillies
- Ginger (finely chopped, optional)
- Asafoetida
- Oil
- Salt
- Coriander leaves (for garnish)
Steps:
- Boil the crumbles on a high flame for about 7 minutes. Switch off the stove and immediately add some cold water to avoid overcooking. Strain the water and keep the crumbles aside.
- Heat a little oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, jeeragam, curry leaves, dry chillies, ginger (optional), and asafoetida for the tempering. Let it cool slightly.
- Take thick curd and beat it well. Add salt as per your preference (add carefully since the crumbles already contain some salt) and mix well.
- Add the tempering to the curd, then add the crumbles and mix gently.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
