Curd Crumbles

Ingredients:

  • Crumbles
  • Thick curd
  • Mustard seeds
  • Urad dal
  • Jeeragam
  • Curry leaves
  • Dry chillies
  • Ginger (finely chopped, optional)
  • Asafoetida
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Coriander leaves (for garnish)

Steps:

  • Boil the crumbles on a high flame for about 7 minutes. Switch off the stove and immediately add some cold water to avoid overcooking. Strain the water and keep the crumbles aside.
  • Heat a little oil and add mustard seeds, urad dal, jeeragam, curry leaves, dry chillies, ginger (optional), and asafoetida for the tempering. Let it cool slightly.
  • Take thick curd and beat it well. Add salt as per your preference (add carefully since the crumbles already contain some salt) and mix well.
  • Add the tempering to the curd, then add the crumbles and mix gently.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
